Compost Giveaways are for Milpitas residents only. Up to 4 bags can be claimed per household. Each household must present a photo ID showing their Milpitas address and either bring a signed waiver form to the giveaway or sign a waiver form once there to receive their 4 bags. Carpooling is allowed!

Milpitas Neighborhood Clean-Up

Neighborhood Clean-Up Days are Coming!

The City of Milpitas, together with Milpitas Sanitation, will be holding Neighborhood Clean-Up Events (aka Dumpster Days) to provide debris bins for residents to dispose of one (1) vehicle load (up to 3 cubic yards) of large/bulky items per household annually.  Must make an appointment to attend.  Visit milpitas.gov/511/Neighborhood-Clean-Up-Events or contact the City of Milpitas at MilpitasRecycles@milpitas.gov for more information.

    Please make sure to bring an ID, proof of residency (utility bill), and sign-up reservation confirmation when you arrive at the date and time of your appointment. If you show up without first making an appointment and/or don’t bring an ID, proof of residency, or confirmation of your appointment, you may be turned away.
